Port Huron Civic Theater (PHCT), formerly Port Huron Little Theater, has been in our area since the 1950’s. A current non-profit, it exists to promote opportunity for anyone interested in any aspect of performing arts to get involved. Theater is a venue for young and old, exerienced and inexperienced, to collaborate and work together to create memorable productions that entertain and inspire. Being part of a play teaches cooperation, discipline, empathy and understanding. It provides a way for people of very different backgrounds and personalities to bond and explore human experiences and emotions together. For those who don’t want to be on stage, there are lots of opportunites to learn creative skills such as building sets, making costumes, learn lighting, sound tech, advertising and marketing. Theater is lot like a sport…it takes teamwork!
