Enjoy Adrian Michigan!
Adrian is a great community in which to live, work, play and raise a family! We are rich in the arts and education! We are fortunate to have both private and public schools that offer exceptional educational opportunities. Three institutions of higher education provide post secondary learning and include: Adrian College, Siena Heights University and JCC @ LISD TECH. Education is a priority in the community from early childhood education to adult learning.
The arts and culture are foremost when one thinks of Adrian. Enjoy live professional orchestral music in Dawson Auditorium and other venues around the city with the Adrian Symphony Orchestra. Live theater takes place on stage at the Croswell, Adrian College, Siena Heights University, Lenawee Christian Schools and other venues throughout Lenawee County. Enjoy the 16 mounted pieces of art that are on display for a year and longer in our community throughout the Arts Discovery walk. Arts education can be found in our schools and community programs. And Art-A-Licious is the city’s premiere arts event – it takes place in mid-September – you won’t want to miss it. Be sure and check out the local art always on display in the LCVA Gallery at the Croswell and The Book Abbey located in downtown Adrian.
If you love the outdoors, you will love Adrian! 20+ parks of all sizes dot the City and provide venues for sports, hiking, biking and just relaxing. Trestle Park is the gem in our park crown and hosts performances by the Adrian City Band each summer. The Kiwanis trail runs several miles through the City and beyond and offers a window to much of the area’s natural beauty.
Health care is provided by the professional staff and ProMedica Health Systems (Bixby and Herrick Hospitals) as well as many independent physicians, technicians and nurses.
