Downtown Lapeer

Downtown Lapeer is beautifully historic. Established in 1831, Lapeer is proud to showcase the downtown area with its mix of historic sites like the Lapeer County Courthouse and Pix Theatre, along with unique retail shops, interesting wares, and casual or fine dining.  Newly open in downtown is the Gallery 194 that houses two galleries, a gift shop and coffee shop. Another favorite in downtown is the Farmers Market Pavilion, open May through October.

The neighborhood dubbed “Piety Hill” is adjacent to the City’s central district and is an enclave of early homes, churches and community buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

With lakes for fishing, parks for athletic leagues and concerts, a community center with a swimming pool and fitness activities, trails for hiking and biking, Lapeer offers the small town lifestyle with a big town opportunity.

Lapeer Days is an exhilarating experience for the entire family! The festival takes place in beautiful downtown Lapeer, Michigan during the height of the Summer when the community is at it’s most beautiful. This is Lapeer County’s premier FREE festival. The Lapeer Days festival has grown in popularity to become one of MID-MICHIGAN’S premier FREE festivals!

We hope to see you and your entire family there! There’s so much to see and do for every member of the family. You don’t want to miss it.
